startwritingcreatively
startwritingcreatively starts when you start writing creativelyabout the author
In 2007 I received a one-year scholarship to study at the University of Sheffield, UK. From October 2007 to June 2008 I was an editor of the experimental writing section of “Route 57″, the University of Sheffield’s School of English online writing magazine. Ever since then I’ve been a passionate writer of fiction and poetry.
My focus is on Modern American Fiction (20th Century) and I am deeply influenced by modern writers, such as Ernest Hemingway, Raymond Chandler and Jack Kerouac. Moreover, I admire contemporary American writers, such as Sherman Alexie and Paul Auster. I’m particularly interested in short stories, crime fiction and experimental writing. I’m keen on tough and terse prose.
I started this blog in order to stimulate my creativity and to encourage people to produce writing that is creative, concise and captivating.
